Metal Gear Rising...people have been asking me for DAYS what i thought about it. Well here you go
I CANNOT WAIT FOR IT!!!!!
People are being assy about it saying its nothing like metal gear solid....well guess what? IT ISNT METAL GEAR SOLID. Its metal gear RISING. HENCE its a new series. a new series that requires new gameplay so of course your not gonna be sneaking. I PROMISE YOU if you look at it as a brand new experience you wont be as pissed off as you are right now. Ive heard many things about the storyline being changed and not making any damn sense now that can be a perfectly good reason not to like it and i respect that, but comparing the gameplay to a previous metal gear game is just...no. i HONESTLY stopped giving a damn about Metal Gears confusing ass story After MGS2. I thought the whole Clone speed up age bullcrap in 4 was just a cheap way out of making anymore Metal Gear Games. if the main character cant go on how can you make more games right?
Now on the subject of Platinum Games making the game. From what ive heard Kojima was going to cancel is all together and Platinum decided to take the game. Id rather SOMEONE be making the game then if just being thrown out the window after all the years of HYPE. Platinum Games can give you a solid gameplay experience. i LOVED Bayonetta, and Vanquished, and MADWORLD. They can deliver the hell out of a game man....Also heres a little more that you probably didnt know....Most of a little Team by the name of Clover Studios are apart of Platinum Games....Clover stupids brought you The Viewtiful Joe games....Okami....and in my opinion MOST IMPORTANTLY....GOD....F*CKIN...HAND. So do you ask if im dissapointed? F*ck no i cant wait to get my hands on this game and try to literally slice someones ass off. Of course as a Metal Gear Fan i was expecting something different in gameplay and i expected a ridiculous story to not pay attention to...but as i saw that trailer i really want to PLAY this game...Key Word "PLAY" not watch overly dragged out cutscenes.
So to sum it all up. YES i understand your pain and disappointment, But the game looks like A LOT of fun and i can not wait to play it especially with Raiden being my favorite Metal Gear Character.

First Impressions and Semi Review of Sonic CD
Well today was the first time i ever played Sonic CD which ive heard from MANY people that its arguably THEE BEST sonic game ever created. I go into this one hopes VERY high and it delivers the first couple levels. i then found myself getting a bit frustrated with all the annoying "Hidden" springs that launch me into spikes or into another direction i am running. every time this happened i imagined an asian guy at a computer saying....man this spring in THIS SPOT is sure gonna piss somebody off....well buddy you did a damn good job....jerk.
The game starts off typical as always but with Amy being kidnapped by Metal Sonic. So you need to rescue her of course....now theres new stuff in this game that ive never seen in a sonic game. You have the ability to travel between Past, Present, and the Future. you go to the past to Bust some of Robotnik's shit to fix the future. every level has quite a few of these little street lamp thingies and you use them to travel to where the sign says, Past or Future. This is where the best of the game stands out....and this is where it pisses me off the most. not only is it rather difficult to travel in between times in later stages, it requires lots of back tracking to time travel etc to destroy shit and make the future "Good". i honestly ignored this WHOLE concept of the game and did what i knew best and thats RUN RUN RUN. Towards the end of the game the level design begins to really take a toll on your psyche....i wanted to break something on the Metal Sonic boss fight and almost every level after that. There were only 2 or 3 left after that though so it wasnt ALL that bad. Once i finished the game i got a huge TRY AGAIN screen because i didnt fix the future.....well F*ck your future im not replaying it.
Now enough complaining about it lets point out the good....its f*ckin SONIC MAN...so thats already a plus. its got the spin dashing and turbo running youve come to know and love. the beginning level swere amazing, the soundtrack is great. after you beat the game you unlock Tails. Theres a Time Attack mode, if you enjoyed the backtracking and time travel im sure youd have no issue replaying to get the good future....heck even the Collect the Chaos Emeralds...but i doubt i will, ill prolly play this game again once LinkG07 comes over and i say...hey bud wanna beat Sonic CD for me :D.
So to end it if your a sonic fan YES YES YES PLEASE play Sonic CD its a MUST....even if you end up not liking it at least you can say youve beaten Sonic CD.
On a scale 1-10 with my personal time with the game i give it a 7.
